4/11/2024 0 Comments Toy story 3 incinerator scene![]() ![]() Finally, like a lot of us, I can see myself as Andy as he gives away his toys to the little girl. My Ego trip can be as bad as Buzz's before he realizes he's a toy. I'm caring, and will always be there for my friends, like Woody. ![]() ![]() It may not be what you expect, but it could be much better than what you expect.Ĭharacters I can see myself as: I'm very flirtatious, like Bo Peep. One thing I got out of the transition from Andy's house to the little girl's house is that you never know what the future is going to hold. These "toys", and I put them in quotes because I can truly see the people in my life as them, learned many life lessons that we have learned, are learning, and will learn. oh man, I could just see my friends and I reaching out and holding each others hands just like that. In the 3rd movie, at the dump with the incinerator. It was more than just a "toy story", it was a trilogy about the love of a family made of imperfect "people" working together through love. In essence, these sort of friends who love of this deeply are more than friends, they are our family through love, as the toys recognized themselves as a family. They are not fooled by the mistakes we made or the dark images we hold about ourselves, but rather they remember our beauty when we feel ugly, our wholeness when we are broken, our innocence when we feel guilty, and our purpose when we are confused. They know you may not be perfect, but they see you for who you truly are. He later comes out of it with the help of Woody, as the people who love you will always help you in these hard times. I had to laugh when Buzz had his psychotic break resulting from this realization, as I too know what it's like to struggle with depression. We all have to go through this realization. This could be from your first break-up with "the one", not passing a crucial course, or perhaps being let go from your first dream job. To me, when Buzz Lightyear discovered he was "just a toy", it was coming to a realization that we (as humans) are not as glorious as our ego sometimes leads us to believe, rather we are flawed and imperfect. But, as I am older and the Toy Story trilogy is one of the best of all time, I decided to rewatch it as an adult. This scene is the darkest ever made in any Pixar film.Yeah, I was emotionally a late bloomer, so I never fully liked Toy Story movies growing up.In Toy Story 2, the Prospector says that the toys would be thrown and burned in some landfill. The Buzz Lightyear of Star Command episode "Stranger Invasion" has Emperor Zurg requesting incinerators instead of a standard garbage smasher in a new base, as they would be far more difficult to escape from.Hamm and Slinky decide to get revenge on Lotso for leaving them to die however, Woody talks them out of it, saying it's not worth it. Potato Head thank the Aliens for saving them. As the aliens put their friends down safely, Buzz and Jessie are the only ones still holding hands. However, at the last minute, the Aliens, who had gone to a different part of the dump, save all the toys with a giant crane. The toys then close their eyes and await their fate. Woody looks at all his friends holding hands and then joins them by grabbing Buzz and Slinky's free hands. Afterwards, Slinky Dog grabs Hamm's hoof, and Hamm uses his free hoof to grab Rex's hand. Jessie then grabs one of Bullseye's hooves with her free hand. As the toys near their fiery demise, Buzz looks at Jessie and grabs her hand. However, instead of pushing the button to save Andy's toys, Lotso runs off and leaves them to die. Woody and Buzz Lightyear give a boost and he climbs up the ladder and reaches the button. ![]() Lots-o'-Huggin' Bear then spots a ladder leading to a stop button to stop the conveyor belt. Rex, Woody, and the other toys run for their lives. Woody says it's not daylight, but the light of an incinerator, which appears to show an enormous fire in the center. The Incinerator is a location at the Tri-County Landfill and part of the climax of Toy Story 3.Īfter escaping the shredders, Rex sees a light, thinking it's daylight. Woody witnessing the incinerator from afar. ![]()
